Brooch

This pin is made from two yoyo's. First I made a 6 1/2" burlap yoyo and then another 4 1/2" fabric yoyo. The burlap yoyo was very stiff and left a very wide opening so I sewed tucks at the opening to make it smaller. I cut a flower shape from an old pair of jeans (recycled). It will fray slighly but that adds to the charm of the pin. My daughter gave me an old keychain that had the cute beads on the top of it so I cut the bottom off and used (recycled) only the top. I hot glued everything together and then hot glue a pin on the back. This is my version of shaby chic.
