The Parade

The Waller Christmas Parade was December 5th at 3pm. The theme was an old fashioned Christmas so we decorated our float with a gingerbread man theme. I made the gingerbread house from 2 boxes, the house is 2' wide x 3' long x 3' tall and 1 whole can of Great Stuff. Now I have to tell you I love Great Stuff. I use it all the time, but it can be very messy. If it gets on your clothes it will not come off and I've tried everything. If its gets on your skin it is a booger to get off. But everytime I need a snow or icing look, I use Great Stuff. I added real candy and foam marshmallows that I painted and then added glitter to everything. When the parade was over the kids were allowed to eat the candy, I did that because when were on the float throwing the candy to other kids there isint any left for them. I would like to thank everyone who helped decorate the gingerbread men and the float. It looked great and it was fun.
