Fairy Mushroom

I'm trying to catch a glimpse of the fairies

that play in my garden in the back yard but I

haven't had seen one yet. I thought if I make some mushrooms maybe they will come out to play, so here is my first one. It could also be table decor for a Alice in Wonderland Tea Party....what a fabulous idea! I used baking clay and just molded the base by hand, I ran the top through a pasta machine, cut a circle, pressed dots of white clay on top, molded it onto the base and bake. Note to self, wash your hands after working with red, the base has a tint of red to it. I sanded some of the red tint off and added a coat of clear. I'm off to see if the fairies approve, tootles.
