Belt Choker

My daughter's belt was splitting and she was going to throw it away but I grabbed it and sat it aside until I figured out what to do with it. After a little Blog searching I cut the belt into multiple pieces and with the first piece I made a cuff bracelet. I took the longest piece of belt and decided to make a choker to match the bracelet. I found some jewelry clamps that had teeth on them and clamped two of them on each end. I had to remove three center studs and then I hot glued the cross in the middle. Next I ran a piece of 30" black ribbon through the clamp hooks and tied a knot and there you have it, a recycled belt choker. And to think she wanted to throw it away...silly girl!!!
