Mom Can Fix It

My son in law bought a dress for my daughter while he was in Europe, it is very cute and it is to small. So who does she call....Mom. It was a strap less dress and a zipper in the back. I cut the zipper down to the waist, added loops along the back and straps that start in the front and lace up the back. This fix worried me and it took me a while to figure out how to fix it but I think it turned out OK.

The dress below had sleeves and every time she lifted her arms the whole dress would lift up and there's not a lot of up it can go. I cut the sleeves off and used hem tape to turn it under and sewed it into place. Then I took the sleeves and made a flower to pin onto the dress or put in her hair. I took the other sleeve and made shoe ruffles with iron on jewels down the center. I just taped them onto the center part of my shoes for the picture but they could be sewn together and then you have a ruffled cuff bracelet. Whose your momma?
