Wooden Cross

I found these wooden crosses at Hobby Lobby for 30% off and they were the last two on the shelf. I often buy items that are a good price and they sit around until I get a great idea (I have a lot of good stuff sitting around). The crosses are a bit rough so I sanded them down and then I stained the larger cross, inked the edges and mod podged it front and back. The smaller cross I painted black and mod podged some felt onto the top of it. I hot glued the smaller cross onto the larger cross and then hot glued the clay horseshoe on top of the
crosses. The studs have prongs on the back, so I dabbed a bit of hot glue on and then pushed the studs into the wood. I had a few items to go on top of the crosses but nothing caught my fancy until I placed the horseshoe on top and BAM I had a winner. I really like this one and will make more as soon as I find more good deals.
