Pink Zebra Cake

At work the other day one of the ladies asked if I knew anyone who could make cakes? Well, yes I do and I think she did a fantastic job on this cake in very short notice. My daughter Melanie makes cakes and she has her own blog, melaniescakehobby.blogspot.com. The pink frosting is a butter cream frosting (YUM) with black fondant stripes. Since it was short notice I went to the dollar store and bought the shoes for the cake. The shoes were silver with a clear plastic top and a big yellow flower, can you say gaudy? The shoes screwed together so I took them apart, sprayed them black, added some pink glittery wired ribbon and some black feathers. What little girl wouldn't want this cake?
