My 30 Minute Cross

Help! I started making these Crosses and I can't stop. It really only takes 30 minutes to make one of these. They are about 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" and I am using up all of my scrap material. After I cut them out I start sewing at the side under the first cross bar and go up. After I get all the way around to the bottom, I stuff it and then finish sewing it closed. I take a small wire brush and go across the edges to rough them up and that's it. Now on some I am adding ribbon at the top but as I'm sewing I just add that in. As you can see on some of them I have glued on buttons, Crosses and do-dads using E6000 and then I let that dry overnight with something heavy on top. Wouldn't these be cute on a wreath? Or you could give them as a baby gift to hang on the crib or door knob....oh the ideas!
