My Amy brought a Spaghetti Squash over and made some Spaghetti for me and Sam.
I really think the squash doesn't have much flavor so you can add just about anything to it and it will be great. So I searched for recipes using the squash and I found one for Fried Rice (see photo), instead of using rice I used the squash and it was good also. I found recipes for lasagna, chicken spaghetti and egg rolls. I cooked half of a squash for 1 hour in the toaster oven but I should have gone only 30 - 45 minutes so it would keep more texture. I would be careful when adding liquids, I think it would get soggy too. Do you have picky eaters? Use the squash and they won't even know the difference. I bet if you sprinkle some French onion soup mix over it, it would taste just like Ramen noodles.
