Ham and Swiss Sliders

I found this recipe for ham and cheese sliders so I decided to give it a try. They were FABULOUS!! The original recipe called for King's Hawaiian rolls but it was double the cost and the Classic Dinner Rolls were just as good. I bought Gruyere cheese from the HEB deli but it tastes just like the smoked Swiss cheese from the Walmart deli. What made these sliders great was the sauce, it's a mustard butter, I'm not a fan of mustard but I could eat these all day long.

Mustard Butter
1 stick of Parkay margarine (soft)
1 small onion (minced)
1 tablespoon of mustard
1 tablespoon of packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

Start the oven at 350 degrees.
Mix all of the ingredients together and spread on both sides of an open roll, Place 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of folded ham on the inside, close and brush a small amount of Mustard butter on the top. Spray a 13 x 9 pan and place the rolls in the pan and cover with foil. Bake for 12 minutes, uncover and bake 2 more minutes and then taste Heaven!

The recipe called for 1/2 teaspoon of salt but there s enough salt in the Parkay so I left the salt out.
