I heard about these plates on the Chuck Swindoll radio show. The original plates you can buy say "I am Special" but I prefer "I am Blessed". I bought the plates from Bed Bath and Beyond online, sprayed the plates with clear, cut the letters with my Cricut and another light coat of clear. The red plate is to acknowledge a family members: triumph, accomplishment, a job well done, a kindness, a birthday, a goal achieved or just to say "I love you" and 'I appreciate you". It is to remind them that they are Blessed and it should become a family tradition. Take it to a restaurant celebration and hand it to the waiter for the honoree. Place a napkin down in case of high heat.It is a charger plate, the dinner plate should be placed on top of the charger plate and should not be eaten off of. Wipe it with a damp cloth and it is NOT dishwasher safe.
